Carnegie built a plant for and developed a monopoly in steel. He built a plant in Pittsburgh after the Civil War ended. He expected demand for steel to increase greatly. The steel his company produces went to railroads, the military, and bridge building. Before he died, Carnegie donated millions of dollars to public libraries and to support higher education and world peace.

He benefited by technology because his job involved technology on the railroads and he kept getting monthly wages which made him really successful and rich overtime.

Due to technology Andrew not only learned all the information he needed to succeed later but he was also presented with the opportunity to make the money. If he didn't work in the railroad industry he wouldn't have realized steel would be so successful after the war. The fact they hadn't been able to mass produce steel before was also an advantage. If they had already been able to do this he wouldn't not have mad nearly as much. He took advantage of the demand that had very little supply.

Carnegie believed that disgraced of the man that was rich , Before he died he always thought he was someone special and could understand why people understood him and the way he reacted. The technology in his life was very important and he loved his phone and cable because they were all understanding of technology in his life and could impress people to love and use technology that they have used today.

Carnegie benefitted from technology because it allowed him to produce more . He worked as a telegraph operator and that got him connections from there he noticed the railroad industry growing . And with his investments he earned 40 thousand dollars . With those earnings he built a plant that made steel using the bessemer process which produced more . <~ IDK

He used what he knew about the times to make money. He knew they would need steel for the civil war. So he started his own steel company taking what he already knew and made a huge profit. By the end of his life he was known as the richest man alive.
