If new neurons are being formed every day in our brain, how can we hold on to these cells and not let them simply die away?

we simply find out what problems are wrong with people and we find a cure for these problems so they don't become worse .they also find cures so that they wont become something else

Physical exercise increases the number of newborn neurons. We should learn new things throughout life. and keep challenging, exploring and discovering ourselves.

on the blog it states that new neurons are born and the old ones die off. To keep things from dying you should show your brain to new things, so those keep developing.

Humans can learn new things throughout life that keeps our brain active. Humans can also find new hobbies, activities, and exercises for our brain.

To keep new neurons from dying, you should expose your brain to new things.

Michael Kaplan said that if someone or something is in an enriched environment the neurons are more likely to survive. He gave an example that if you put an animal in a cage with toys the neurons are more likely to survive.

To prevent new neurons from simply dying away, being in an enriched environment can help stimulate them. Participating in physical activity can also help the generation of newer neurons to correctly mature.

In order to conserve the neurons and not simply let them die off you need to be stress free and challenge your brain to learn new things and see things in a positive light.

Exercising your mind through learning helps keep the cells alive and working

The article says that we should keep challenging and trying new thing in order for the cells not to die off and grow new cells.

To basically make sure we hold on to them I believe we can do several things . But i would say that the most important thing would bee if we actually explored with things and do a lot more to help our brains and stuff actually learn more . also to give it more experience with things.

Neurogenesis (the creation of new neurons) is evident in the hippocampus, olefactory bulb, and maybe in the cerebral cortex. New neurons are not born but develop from natural stem cells that remain in our brain throughout the course of our lifetime. However in some other parts of brain, turnover occurs and old ones die while new neurons are born. New neurons follow the same circuits as the old neurons so what is learned is not lost.

By keeping your brain occupied and learning new things. Not just sitting around not using your brain all the time then the cells might slip away.

In order to hold onto these cells you will need Physical exercise and challenging yourself. Also explore new things.

An enriched environment enhances the number of new neurons. Physical exercise can help increase the number newborn neurons. Basically in order for new neurons to keep growing, we must keep challenging ourselves, explore new things, and exercise.

A former scientist replied to the question simply saying enriched environments the number of the new neurons. If humans take the challenge to be more physically active, new neurons will continue to grow inside of us and we can explore how to use them in different ways.

the blog talks about how mammalian brains have the ability to grow new neurons on purpose this action takes place by itself already but learning, exercising, and exploring new things can help you multiply these neurons.
