A lot of things cause memory problems, anything from a tramatic event to just a problem where your brain is unable to encode things into long term. Strokes and anureisms also can cause memory loss.

In the article "What Causes Memory Problems" I read about diseases, memory problems, trauma, neglect, and what causes these related memory problems. I learned that disease and trauma both have the ability to control, but neglect you have control over.

i agree that disease, trauma, and neglect are great reasons for memory loss cause you could witness something very bad and forget all about what happened and a disease can cause you to forget a lot and being neglected can make you depressed and you start thinking a lot and forget a lot of stuff

I can relate to this because my grandma got really really sick and she forgot where she lived at, her birthday, how old she was, and how she got to the hospital.

The article we read today was titled, "What Causes Memory Problems?". The three main memory problems that the article lists include;disease, trauma, and neglect. Neglect can be controlled, because it is more fate based. But Disease and Trauma has very little control to them. My great grandmother had Alzheimer's and even though things were foggy for her, she'd always act like she was with it even when she wasn't.

So many things cause problems with the memory. From a traumatic event to a born defect. Thugs such as strokes can also affect your memory.

I tend to have retrieval problems when it comes to schoolwork, especially when I keep on adding on new informations on a daily basis. Even if I paid attention during class and store new informations the right way, I would still lose the memories that I was taught. In conclusion, the brain could have memory problems.
