i can relate because we're constantly looking at our phones and being compared to, which makes us feel not good enough. and that adds to the increase of depression

This article is talking bout how women are better off single and men are better off married, but the writer disagrees with what is being said. I disagree with this article also because it shouldn't be about who is better off without what, if a women wants to be married then a woman wants to be married, and not all men should be married.

It is said that social media causes depression. People look at social media everywhere they go. There was research done showing that more than half of the social medias have posts about people being depressed. There is bullying and other different kinds of ways a person can become depressed on social media.

I could relate to the topic that going on social medias too much could increase the rate of depression or could even make depression worse. I go on my social medias lately and would constantly see posts that I wished I could have but can't in which could be one of the the cause of depression.

In the article about social media and depression, it talks about if social media induces depression on people. They conducted a study to see if that is true. Some people made the conclusion that they feel depressed because they compare their self to others on social media. While others say that social media can distract their bran of feeling depressed or find resources to help with it.

People today, use social media at work, in the grocery or even in the car. But it can impact our mental health. Depression and Social media have a connection. So they did an experiment with people from ages 15 to 88. This test helps us see how social media can effect our mental health. People can compare themselves online and make themselves feel bad. Not only that it showed it can be especially hard in 4 different areas. Due to this depression can be caused.

I read the article called, "The President Defends Free Speech and Civil Dialogue". In my opinion I believe that people fear to share their political views, because it won't be considered "correct" by the society you live in. Whether you're an open mind in a conservative town, or a closed mind that sticks to your views and your views only while living in somewhere so big and full of diversity, respect is the only key we have. We all want to think we are correct. We thrive from it. People tend to forget originally because it is so rare because of fear.

I read the politics article and it said that we have to be more open minded about everyone's opinion because we have been in our bubble for too long and it's affecting us. I do agree with this because i think everyone should be heard and not be discriminated by their opinion. when your in a heated argument you would like to be heard just like the other person wants to be heard.

I'm not depressed or anything but i can see how people do get upset, and depressed when they see what other people have and they post on social media. I don't care who you are, everyone would love to live in a mansion, with a nice SUV, car, or truck, or all three you know.

Social media is a constant presence in the lives of billions of people across the globe.Social Media causee lots of depression and bullying. It’s no surprise that people are more likely to develop depression from comparing themselves to others on social media than when they make comparisons in real life. That’s because it’s easier to present a polished and unrealistic version of your life in a snapshot or snippet of text.

Cause/Effect - The cause was psychology shows that when we evaluate other people or groups, we care more about morality than we do about competence. The effect was consumers were more likely to choose the moral service provider when they felt empathy.

The article I read was about how to avoid depression induced by social media. There is a connection between social media and depression. 45% of 11 studies proved to be a link between social media and depression, 18% proved there is a positive response to mental health, and 36% didn't find any evidence whatsoever. Review authors went through their data to help determine when social media is harmful and helpful. Their data showed that people are more likely to feel depressed from comparing themselves to others on social media.

Social Media is a huge part in everyone's life. So I agree when they say there is a connection between social media and depression. Being on social media you see all the selfies and happy posts others make which could make a person jealous or cause them to compare the other individual to themselves. Comparing yourself with others tends to put you in a bad mental place when thinking about yourself.

The article is '' Is It True That Single Women and Married Men Do Best?'' I agree, because when your a single women you don't have to worry about stress and a married man are more capable of being in love so they won't cheat or anything. In the article states that you will be more connected.

I guess I can relate to this subject on how the mind has two settings, the central control center and the default. Once your mind wanders, it's hard to get back on track.

I read the article about "Parenting Behind Bars." This article is mainly about Parents being in jail before or after the child is born. 66,000 women that are in national prisons have or has had a child in or before prisons. A lot of them are under the age of 18. Its not the child's fault they are just caught in the crossfire and they are affected by the mother or fathers actions.

They examined a bunch of people between the ages of 15-88. They found that social media users often felt envy triggered by looking at other people's posts.
