The Great Depression started by a crash in the stock market. People were afraid they were going to get kicked out of their homes. More people were getting fired and losing their business's. Many people did not get dinner every night. Many banks were short on cash and the banks closed down. Some people killed themselves because their savings were gone. People did not always have money to get buy and many felt terrified, depressed, and hopeless. Families took their children's money to try and get the necessities. Many families didn't have any support.

No money. The bank was even low on money. Lots of people were evicted from their homes. These people had to sell their belongings for money. Desperate for hope. Lots of people lived n the streets.
