Rosie the Riveter was a female icon in WW2. Rosie could be any female or woman who built equipment for the war. Many productions were made from the Rosie the Riveter. Rosie the Riveter looked as a man in a way. Women didn't wear jeans in public. Rosie the Riveter was doing men's jobs.

The woman icon of WW2. She has a song made after her. The picture shows that Rosie is strong, girly, and hardworking. She has one job and that is to destroy Hitler.

Rosie is a propaganda for women and says they can do it which means they can help support the war. There is a song from 1943 about Rosie the riveter. The woman on the cover had a lot of masculine traits to her like the clothes she was wearing.

Rosie was a female icon of WW2. The original drawn character was a brawny and tough looking woman, but her look was changed by another artist. The original Rosie was drawn with muscular arms, heavy tools, some makeup, and was standing on a book published by Hitler.

Women did usually wear pants, but Rosie was the first to show that it is legal for women to do a mens job and wear overalls to make their jobs much easier.

Known as the iconic symbol for women during WWII. Rosie is a propaganda poster to get more people (especially women )involved in the war. This poster was made by Norman Rockwell. Rosie is shown to be a masculine but feminine figure who is doing a man's job.

Rosie was the representation of a woman during WWII. Riveters shot rivets through metal with a riveting gun. Illustrations of "Rosie" were big strong women that worked on airplanes during the war. The original Rosie the Riveter illustration showed a woman with overalls and a big riveting gun on her lap. She had big biceps and she stood on Hitler's novel.
