Phineas Gage was a 26 year old foreman of a railroad-building crew. He dropping an iron tamping rod into a rock full of dynamite. The iron tamping rod went in his left cheek and out the top of his head. Surprisingly he survived another 11 years before he died of infection due to the lack of medicine they had back them.

Phineas Gage was a railroad worker who was in a bad accident. A worker forgot to cover the dynamite hole with same and it exploded in front of Phineas. He survived the accident for another 12 1/2 years. Before the accident he was friendly and nice but after the accident he was mean and childish. His frontal lobe was damaged because the rod went through his cheek and out of his head, piercing his frontal lobe.

Gabe was no longer the same. He was struck by a metal pole in his frontal lobe. He became childish and impulsive when he previously was mature.

Gage had a metal rod that shot threw his eye and went through the top of his head and he survived. He lived for 12 1/2 more years but he was never the same after the accident. Most people thought that this was a myth.

Phineas Gage had a metal rod blasted through his head. He survived 12 1/2 years and died from an infection. His personality changed. He became "childish, obstinate, capricious, and vacillating" and could no longer hold a job. The frontal lobe of his brain was damaged.

Some scholars believed Neanderthals were smarter than we give credit for. The article talked about how Phineas Gage got struck through the brain with a Iron-tamping rod. He changed so much after the incident, He acted childish, capricious, just not of sound mind. He had gotten fired from his job after the incident. Harlow ended up writing a short article on it, but it is the only remnant of Phineas's life.

This article is talking about how neanderthals and how smart they were or weren't? Did they have the ability to make decisions like modern humans. Gage's personality changed to childish and impulsive after he got in the accident. The frontal lobe of his brain was damaged. Apparently neanderthals were able to make decisions like humans.

Phineas Gage was a miner who actually turned into an experiment. He had a special tool that he used called a tamping iron. He accidentally hit the side of the hole and the rock exploded. The tamping iron pierced his face and he got ill. From then on he changed. His personality wasn’t the same; he was grumpy and childish. His frontal lobe was damaged. The doctor who helped him used his brain to research it and how the brain works and reacts.

Phineas Gage, a 26-year-old foreman of a railroad-building crew, dropped an iron-tamping rod onto a dynamite charge, which blew through his eye and came out the top of his forehead. This damaged his frontal lobe which should have killed him instead it changed his personality and he was not the same as he used to be. Gage’s personality changes, such as “childish,” “obstinate,” “capricious,” “vacillating,”. Gage

Gage was a 26 year old miner who worked on the railroad. He was working on the rail road and dropped and iron tampering rod on a dynamite charge which blew through his head. This should have killed him but instead it just seriously injured him and after everything was over it changed his life forever Gage will never be the same again. This rod did major damage to his frontal lobe.
