The "teacher" looks back at the experimenter whenever the "learner" cries out in pain. Reminds me how a chimpanzee will ask for permission from the Alpha before doing certain actions.

2/3 people charged the learner up to the most dangerous level. Why are humans wired this way? Is it society? People barely actually know the reason why they continued, which means they subconsciously reasoned between stopping and following orders.

in the video they have a electrician being the teacher , they take the teacher back with the learner telling the learner that the voltages weren't harmful this was to cause a conflict with the electrician to see if he would stop because he knows how the shocks would feel . The guy does not stop he actually goes all the way threw . When they have the meeting about his actions he blames it on the learner why he didn't stop

Subjects tend to look back at the experimenter (authority figure) for what to do when they hear the other subjects in pain.

Even if the people look at the experimenter and they say to keep going if you don't want to do it then don't. They should think what's the worst that can happen if I say no. The experimenter can't hurt you and it's not likely you'll loose the money

there is no way to tell who is going to stop or go on in the experiment. an electrician went all the way to the to voltage. why? Because he was told to he just listens to whoever told him what to do and kept hurting the man.

People whenever they shock people, they usually look back at the experimenter and either say something to them, or say something. Why do most people not stop? They know there is "harm" going on..

Every time the teacher gives the learner a shock, the teacher turns around to look at the experimenter. The electrician kept shocking the learner, because the experimenter told him to.
