I learned that humans have the most highly developed pre-frontal cortex of any animal. The frontal cortex is extremely vulnerable to all different types of damage. This includes head injury or large alcohol consumption. Frontal lobe syndrome is where the part of the brain is not functioning as it should.

The writer of the article was interested in frontal lobes. He said that they are connected to so many parts of the brain. So, if a pathway between another part of the brain and the frontal lobe are damaged it could cause frontal lobe problems/impairments.

i learned that the frontal-lobe is where feelings and emotions happen . It is also where if you have a major brain injury like dementia or Parkinson disease it will take place in the frontal lobe. What doesn't make sense to me is that there is a such thing called the frontal lobe syndrome

This passage talks about the lobes of the brain and how injuries can damage the brain. Frontal lobe system is where the brain no longer works in that area. Too damaged. Frontal lobes are very important to the brain.

i learned that from drinking and other such activities the frontal lobe can be damaged. Also that traumatic injures occur in the frontal lobe. I didn't quite understand what it meant when it said that we early teens and twenties know a lot about the frontal lobe.

Most people mistake the prefrontal lobe as the entire frontal lobe. The prefrontal lobe is what makes us have certain emotions. A woman named Phillipa lost her prefrontal lobe and now acts completely different.

The prefrontal lobes are very vulnerable to damage. The prefrontal lobes are connected to most other parts and systems in the brain, so when the connections to and from the frontal lobes are damaged it can result in frontal lobe symptoms. I learned that frontal lobe syndrome is a loose connection of symptoms that is observed in patients who suffer prefrontal lobe dysfunction.

The frontal lobe continues development in the human body well into out 20s. Most believe this lobe is responsible for most of human's evolutionary benefits that separate us from other animals. The prefrontal lobes, in the frontal lobe, are very vulnerable to damage, and are often found damaged in many different cases. Damage from accident, such as traumatic head injury; from environmental influences such as alcohol; and from neurological disorders such as dementia are all ways prefrontal lobes can be harmed.

The article starts off by discussing how the prefrontal cortex of a human is the most developed of animals and how the supremacy we have is connected to how the brain allows us to function. The vulnerability of the brains prefrontal lobes is also mentioned. The author then goes on to provide examples of negative symptoms related to prefrontal lobe damage and how a woman from a severe frontal lobe dysfunction could not function properly in society or with her family.

The frontal lobe is very important in regulating emotion, response, abstract thought, etc. Damage to either lobe if severe can effect the person for life. Slight damage can show moderate symptoms. Without the frontal lobe, most things that make your personality what it is would fail.
